 Do not purchase, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 6" Flat Drill Press Vise (Misc.) This is a terrible vise. It is shoddily made. The jaws do not open all the way, and if you open them as far as you can, it becomes very difficult to close. Turning the screw removes the chrome plating. It arrived with rust already on it. Not just a little speck, either. Jaws do not meet properly when closed.
The purpose of a vise is to hold your workpiece in place, so that it doesn't spin out and injure you while you are drilling. After looking at this vise for two minutes, I will absolutely not be trusting my safety to it. Returning this. |
