The DELTA 15-344 Variable Speed Drill Press features a 3/4 HP three-phase 200-volt motor with a 24-volt push-button magnetic starter. It has a variable-speed drive allowing you to select a different spindle speed while the machine is running. The drill maintains proper belt tension automatically so you'll always have full power transmission. A snubber feature holds speed settings constant no matter the load conditions. The quill is large with a two-inch diameter, and a long quill travel lets you do deep-hole jobs such as skip and gang drilling. The drill features extra-large spindle bearings "6 PLUS 6" and "VS6" spindle and spindle pulleys that are supported by lubricated-for-life ball bearings. The production table tilts 90 degrees in both directions and measures 15.5 x 21.5 inches (12 x 18 inches inside of coolant trough). Included is the table, motor and controls, belt and pulley guard, belt and motor pulley, self-locking depth stop, depth gauge, self-ejecting chuck key.
